Otto doesn't have DOT constrictions on driving/rest hours that would make make Otto want to drive through the storm vs waiting or taking an alternate route... otherwise Otto can use a paid services to apply/remove chains if Otto has the special Trucking With Google Chains app.

Trucking companies will be saving so much money that those will be minor issues. Perhaps self-deploying studs? Only deployed when the coefficient of friction drops below a certain point?

Otto does not need to shred 14" of pow with the boys on a Sunday morning in China Bowl.
Otto is a smart vehicle. Smart vehicles do not travel on I70 at peak hours when it is snowing.
    Good Otto

Can't wait for those phantom road closures and another 5 years of f'd up construction:

Here’s how CDOT plans to spend the first $800 million in new road funding

    https://www.denverpost.com/2017/12/19/cdot-spend-new-road-funding/

    • $80 million for I-70 West of Denver: Construction of peak period shoulder lanes on the westbound side from Twin Tunnels to Empire Junction.
    • $10 million for Highway 9 north of Frisco: Completion of corridor including minimal widening, water quality and drainage improvements, and improvements to two intersections.

10 Million? Nice! They must be adding another 3 or 4 roundabouts on another straight section of highway!

What do you mean? Is driving a rental Altima with summer tires from DIA to Keystone is a bad idea?

For those stuck in Georgetown -- Guanella Pass Brewery added a rockin' outdoor fire pit. Had it really fired up for their staff xmas party last night. Plus good beers to go with it.
