    Treepilot gone...

    http://www.avalanche.ca/cac/In-Memoriam-Wade-Galloway

Well this is a post that sucks to make. Wade Galloway aka Treepilot was killed in an avalanche on Saturday, February 15 in Waterton Lakes National Park here in the South Rockies.

As many of you know, Wade was the organizer for the Canuck Splitfest, an incredible gathering of splitboarders in Revelstoke, BC and a significant fundraiser for the Canadian Avalanche Foundation. As well, Wade was recently elected to the Lethbridge city council and had been instrumental in the push for Lethbridges first skate park which has just recently opened. We've lost a good man and a pillar in the Canadian splitboard scene.

Thank you Wade for all that you've done for splitboarding. Sending all my vibes to your family, friends and loved ones.

Shitty news. Always sad to lose a member of the tribe. Condolences to friends and family.

OP, first link doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

RIP Wade. You were a super nice guy with a lot of patience. I had a great time in Rogers Pass thanks to Wade. He ran a great event. Time to go home and roast a bowl to you man. You went out too quick

Thanks again for showing me around
