Heading to Vail/Beaver Creek with the fam and want to slip away for at least a day in the backcountry, whether lift accessed or climbing from a trailhead -- maybe some of the terrain around 10th Mtn huts? Pm me and we'll discuss. Thur2/13 is best but skiing Wed 2/12 thru Sun 2/16. My understanding is the new snow has settled surprisingly well but still plan to be cautious. Avy level 1 skier.
