As a surfer, skateboarder, and skier, I personally think if it wasn't for snowboarding, skiing wouldn't be where it is now, they are the one's who pushed the envelope in park and pipe and it took awhile for skiing to catch-up.

The fat rockered powder ski and twin tip is a direct result of snowboarding and surfing, trying to match the float snowboarders had in powder and playfulness all over the mountain

snowboarding kicked the door down in the publics acceptance of a alternative way to look at the mountain and ride it.

I personally want to thank snowboarding, because I HATE spandex, I would hate to see where skiing would be if not for snowboarding, probably just a bunch of rich wanabe dentists. Oh wait... That's 1/2 of TGR.

It would be hard to say without riding it, but you would think they would be able to adjust to it pretty quick if it was, plus all are in the same boat so the scores should reveal that.
