    Bitcoin doesn't care?

What happened to Bitcoins price when Trump was elected? How much did the cryto lobby spend to get their people elected last cycle (answer:$245M).

Bitcoin fucking cares who is in charge, and if you can not see that I would suggest you are the partisan hack here.

It's massively factually incorrect. The stupid "a single BTC transaction uses as much energy as" quotes constur a fundamental misunderstanding of how BTC actually works and leads to stupidity like "In 2020 Bitcoin will consume more power than the world does today.

Objectively, BTC went up a lot more percentagewise during the Obama years than during any other administration. Hmmm, that's very interesting!

It is actually not interesting, and does not engage with my argument at all, but that is just run of the mill here.

It would be really fucking weird if this industry spent close to $400M on elections and got no benefit from it. What would you say if literally any other industry did this? (Rhetorical question.)

    Welcome to America, Jong!

It is actually interesting because BTC went up the most when politicians hated it. Now mostly only half of the politicians hate it because they are fucking idiots pissing into the wind.

I'm the one advocating for the money that governments can't print out of thin air. No politician has the ability to create more BTC with an unfair advantage over anyone else. Nobody. Contrast that with Timmy Geithner whispering in Obama's ear that the world would end if Barry didn't "inject" billions of dollars (printed out of thin air) directly into Wall Street banks. This is why Trump's cronies made Trump and Melanie coins, which are trending to zero against BTC and will likely be irrelevant before too long.

Now that lobbying is becoming part of crypto just means that it's maturing as an asset class. This is similar to tech, healthcare, defense, and so on. It's how the United States works, for better or worse.

Has gone up the entire time? I must have been hallucinating that time I thought lost three quarters of it value. Turns out it is a much safer asset than I thought!

Crypto bills still having trouble advancing, so thats nice:

This vote is now the longest vote in the history of the US House of Representatives.

At 7 hours and 24 minutes it breaks the record Republicans set just two weeks ago
