    Alta, Sunday 3/20/05, Pics

I've put some of these up in various threads, but I think for the most part they have gone largely unseen. Sunday was ridiculous - 10" overnight, another foot during the day. Faceshots at 3:45 on our last run.

I thought the shots came out okay, and we haven't really had a good alta wackoff session lately, so here they are in one place. Photo credits for the most part go to my roommate BigMountainStyle.

Standard disclaimers apply - alta sucks, utah sucks, krypton sucks. you guys and gals all know the drill.

Hes just a caveman. He fell on some ice and was later thawed by some of our scientists. Our world frightens and confuses him. Sometimes when he flies to Europe on the Concorde, he wonders, "am I inside some sort of giant bird? Am I gonna be digested?" He doesn't know, because hes a caveman, and that's the way he thinks. When hes courtside at a Knicks game, he wonders if the ball is some sort of food they're fighting over. When he sees his image on the security camera at the country club, he wonders, are they stealing my soul? He gets so upset, he hops out of his Range Rover, and runs across the fairway to to the clubhouse, where he gets Carlos to make him one of those martinis he's so famous for, to soothe his primitive caveman brain.

Good meeting you on Monday, Colin.

because, as we all know, telemark style skiing never requires poles, or planting those poles.

I was there with Mini-Gadget - we had a grand time.

Oh, I forgot, you're done. Nevermind then ...

    Not done by a longshot.

MS thesis is currently a blank page - which is why I am currently sitting at my desk in NH rather than choking on the gurge back in UT.
