How do I like my foamed liners?
    Let me count the ways:

I love ski to the depth and breadth and height
My knees can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love ski to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
    I love ski freely, as men strive for Right;
I love ski purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love ski with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love ski with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, -- I love ski with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! -- and, if God choose,
I shall but love ski better after foam shoes.

Just put them outside in a cold night. The bacteria dies and your shoes smell like new in the next morning. Or put em in da freezer
    are you stupid?
    How do you prepare steak?
    By freezing it
or by heating it to 160 F?

Bacteria does not die in cold, infact when going from cold to hot again it kicks division(reproduction)into overdrive.

Sorry to hijack this ancient thread.

The Krypton is definitely not a low volume shell like the Flexon.
A foam liner will help, but it's much better to try to address the kind of fit problems you've been having with a lower-volume shell.
Get a pair of Nordica Dobermans, the 130 or 100 flex plug boot, not the retail boot.
They are about the narrowest boot you can get (they're easy to grind out), and they have the best liner made.

What brands are there? Tried to search on local websites/bootshops and havent come up on any.
Just saw this and the reply is probably far too late, but....

Conformable used to do tongues separate, not sure now.
Zip fit offered tongues only a couple of years ago.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

    Thanks!
But yes, a bit late for that problem that i had with my thermoflexes.
I finally ended up makin my own of:

    -nordica sparepart shin pieces
-old inner boot plastic shin pieces
    -cork
    -closed cell foam
    -duckt tape

Now i have two ugly pieces of something that work like a charm.
They just need an adjustment now and then...

The floggings will continue until morale improves.
