Truely, I am not one to get wrapped up in the rigormoral of a proclimation for the adorablility of a newborn baby. They typically all look the same to me. When I dropped by to pick up a drill due to my absurd absentmindedness, I got to catch a quick peak at baby Reily and was absolutely stunned by her angelic looks. A day later i actually got to hold her while she slept, she was absolutely mesmerizing. Congrats to the meats family on their new additons.

Welcome to the club- its the best thing ever and sleep is overrated. With it comes the stewardship of passing skiing along to the next generation, which is cool, congrats.

Congrats! That's a beautiful little alien you got there.

My wife is due anytime now to have our first. She's 2cm dialated and 90% effaced(sp?). Doc says she could walk around for a month like this or go tomorrow. I can't be straying too far from telephone contact now.

I've been storing up all of my extra sleep hours for the last month or so.

Had the honor of meeting and holding Riley last night. She's absolutely beautiful and couldn't be sweeter. Apparently Mom has the dominant gene pool.

I had to get my wife out of there before her maternity meter pegged out and exploded. That train has left the station.

Congrats again. Riley's a lucky kid.

Thanks all. Fortunately my sleep hasn't been all that drastically affected as my nipples (much like frozens) are only good for steamy karaoke performances and that doesn't seem to interest Riley much at this point.

jibij, I noticed the fear in your eyes when your wife kept saying "I want one of these". It's good Mindy has the dominant genes. My mom was telling baby stories about me to my mother-in-law that were pretty tweaked. From taking off my diaper and writing on the walls with poo to turning on the oven and throwing in a roll of paper towels. And one trick so brilliant I can't believe I knew to do it. Apparently I'd pull the nightlight slightly out of the socket so it still worked but the prongs were exposed. At that point I'd drop a penny down the back so it would connect with both prongs and shoot sparks and smoke up the wall. I guess little chunks of the penny would be missing.

Wonderfull news, MD9 & family. Riley is super cute!

Little girls are bad...they steal your heart, and will never give it back. Enjoy every second of it! As crazy as this sounds, things just keep getting better and better. The love you have for her will know no bounds.
I went out there in search of experience. To taste, and to touch, and to feel as much as a man can, before he repents.

Congrats Meatdrink family. Look for some world famous lasagne within the next few days. I just checked Mapquest and it looks like the new dairy is quite a bit north of the old playground.
