I'm planning a business trip combined with skiing (of course) during January. Does Alta get rediculously overrun on long weekends. I ask cause if I flew out MLK, I could get an extra day of skiing.

MLK is busier than ususal round here.
Alta will get bigger lines Sat & Sun,
but manageable. plus there are other resorts around that are not hit as hard.
stay a day & lets go skiing
