GoPro - Which backdoor for skiing?

    Simpleminded question of the day:

Which backdoor on my GoPro should I use skiing? The one that's full waterproof or the one that's presumably water resistant but has better sound quality? I will be using the GoPro for audio, so would be nice to have more sound clarity if I'm not risking ruining the camera.

If that static wind sound and the standard "dude, that was sick" sound bite are key elements to your video, I think you answered your own question. Its unlikely that moisture you will damage camera while skiing.

Really? I have only seen POV's break from physical trauma, never water damage (at lest while skiing).

I dont even put my POV in a case anymore. I like it Bareback.

The most obvious answer here is "neither". The last thing this world needs is more GoPro.
