Thumbs up TR: POWtober strikes again | Loveland Pass, CO | Halloween, 2013

Went for a drive with killingcokes on Halloween morning to try to tackle Boreas Mtn but avy concerns, lack of visibility, and a storm moving through forced us to use plan B which turned out to be one of the best backcountry consolation prizes I've had.

    Straight pics.

Dang. That looks mighty fine! Still a good many sharp bits lurking just below the surface?

    Fuck you. I'm jealous.

I might head up around Rollins pass tomorrow to feel things out. Hopefully I'm half as lucky.

Alta yesterday and today. Looks like Colorado is benefiting from the storm as much as we are here in Utah!

Oh dang on all ya all but double dang on these two shots. The second one with the tree is freaking sweet for any part of the season but October? Nice one.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Damn, I would be happy with those turns anytime of year. Noice.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Quality TR's belong at the top of the page rather than buried in the drivel.

    Nice work, fellas.
