Dunno, I guess I thought Ogden was a different complex, but I guess it's not part of the Uintas either? What can I say, call me a JONG - I certainly was in the presence of legends like Kowboy!

Edit: Okay, I finally looked at a shaded relief map, and it all makes sense now!

Not exactly blower here, but 6-8" of cream cheese to support what's to come.

I'd think you'd want it to start wet.

Nah. Doesn't need to start wet... but if you're doing it right it'll get that way pretty quick.

saw 8-9" in bcc this morning. snow wasn't bonding particularly well and did sluff a good bit on the first 5-6 turns without any issues. turns were nice, faceshots included.

Getoutside, what aspect? In Tahoe the wet gloppy storm starts can glue into old crusts ... But our wet starts are probably much sloppier than yours?

The wet shot yesterday certainly bonded well. Can't speak for what came later.

North. East and even Northeast seemed to have a harder surface underneath. Two weeks of straight sun tends to do that.

A little surface sluffing with ski cuts on the PC side.

N/E facing upper elevation creamy and appears to be bonding nicely. S facing producing manageable sluffing on crust or thin areas.

Cold this afternoon. Good mother of overhead blower God on a 3000' vert S-facing line in LCC today. Knee deep in places but scary ... Still thin coverage and blower on sharp rocks is no good. I dinged my knee pretty good on one of a few falls where the new snow would slough off of hidden rocks, won't know until tomorrow how bad it is. Stay safe out there!

And some stoke to share so that I'm not jus' leechin:

This image was taken right before he got swallowed by the cloud - the next 5 frames on burst shutter were not that interesting, because it was just a cloud of snow suspended in air with no skier visible. Good day today!

    Burlsville! Sick line!

Man that heat up happened really fast on SE faces - went from single digits to 40+ degrees air temp in no time!
Got me some California-like bluebird snow on SW faces though, not too manky at all, at least not for us Californians
Good stuff, hopefully one more SLC trip for me before the season is called.

Once again we decided to trade some Californication so we could get Utarded! And once again, we FKNA scored...

Many, many thanks to ALL the locals who treated us like one of their own and pointed us in the right direction to the goods, again. A special thanks to Potatoeskillsme again, touring from LCC to BCC was a definite highlight of the trip and Montreal hill was the tits, eh!

Here are some of the gaper shots I took of us during our time in the Wasatch last week, nothing special just some good ole fashioned pow turns.
