2013-14 Dukes/Dynafit Radicals and Quiver Killers for both?

I just purchased some new Dukes with the new hole pattern and I'm needing some feedback on the compatibility with drilling Quiver Killers for both Dukes and Radicals. Is the new hole pattern (5mm wider) better for QK or do I need to stick with a plate? This JONG has already searched a ton, so, FUCK OFF! Thanks for the feedback!

You need to make a template and see if there's space. Clearly you didn't SEARCH enough JONG!

The new EPF Duke footprint is worse for insert compatibility than the original as you can't share the two rearmost inserts with the Dynafits.

Thanks, that's exactly the info I was wanting to know! Looks like its going to have to be the new dyna-duke plates or nothing.

Could be wrong but I believe they have stopped producing dynadukes and they're out of stock on the site.

Without looking at the new duke template, I would say you could "probably" get both on a ski if you research what is acceptable for mounting offset positions on your ski, which depends on the ski. For example, some skis it really doesn't matter if you are +3 or -3.

I put FKS and Dynafit Radical on S7 by slightly changing the center line of each binding:

The easiest way to do this is to print out the paper templates on thin paper and slide them over one another until you find something that works. (At least 1 cm between holes.)

Duke dynafit compatibility for inserts depends entirely on duke size and bsl. Some size dukes will work with some dynafits depending on bsl.

Hmm, the BSL issue makes sense. I guess I need to fiddle around with the templates and see for myself. I lie the idea of a low stack height and less weight but all of the holes seem like a bigger issue over the long run. I am assuming that BF is making new plates to accommodate the new Marker width and compatibility with the Radicals(?).
I'm just trying to get the best of both worlds. I have another BC setup with Radicals but the new skis would be sick with some Radicals on them for long/big BC days. First world problems...

Read the last few posts in the template thread. I put together some tools to help check for binding conflicts. You only need about 1.2cm ctc between inserts so by playing with mount points and heal adjustments you should be able to get it to work for 'close enough' mount points.

    On the site it says,
[THIS PRODUCT IS DISCONTINUED, TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW VERSION MID-NOVEMBER 2013]
. I would assume that means yes, and if I was in your shoes, I would wait a few weeks to see what happens on that front.

I have inserts for Dukes (old style) and Radicals on a pair of skis. Dynafits are mounted 1cm behind the Dukes. This should work for just about any BSL if you mount the Dukes first and put the Dynafit heels where they fit, and adjust fore-aft as necessary. Could be a problem if you change boots.

The new, wider Duke pattern might allow you mount at the same place, but you'd have 4 holes in a line, which will likely make your skis more prone to breaking. I have no opinion on just how risky this would be. Others may have more to say about this.

If +- 1cm is a problem for you, contact Jondrums and ask what the new dynadukes will be like. They may suit your needs well.

Linhal, thanks for putting that together. Super helpful tool. And to think that I thought this forum was just a bunch of assholes. Thanks y'all!
I'm curious to see what Jondrum comes up with for the new dynaduke plates and how he addresses this issue. I've got a bit before snow is deep enough to whip out the new sticks.

The new version of dynaduke is now called MarkerFit. It'll fit duke EPF as well. Definitely take a look at the paper templates and see if it works for your bsl because inserts are lighter...
