I've an a chance to do some pretty cool photo trips over the 60 days, including the Canadian Rockies, the Tetons, and all of the Utah NPs. Here's some of my favorites.
Moraine Lake, Banff National Park
I spent 3 days in the Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park. This place is off the hook. The weather wasn't all that great, but it made for some great pictures. I will definitely be going back there as soon as I have the chance.
After leaving Canada, we stopped in Wyoming on the way home. We hit it right at the first of Oct though, so the parks had closed, so photo opportunities were limited. I made a stop by the classic Moultan barns though, and got some good light.
My dad isn't a big outdoorsy guy, buy my mom is, so I try to take her on a cool trip every other year or so. We had decided on Utah for this trip, but this was right in the middle of the govt shutdown though, so the timely wasn't ideal. In some ways it was good because it made me explore places I hadn't been before. We lucked out though, and the Utah governor opened the parks half way thru the trip and we still got to hit most of them up. As a bonus, it was pretty much peak fall colors time in Utah, so that just added to the beauty of that amazing state.
That's just a fraction of the pictures I've taken, but those were my early favorites.
