    Blue is the warmest color

I read that "la vie d'Adèle" (US title "Blue is the warmest color"), has been nc-17 rated in the US. Which is bad for its distribution, if my understanding is correct

That's a fucking shame. Because it's an awesome movie, that deserves all the positive reviews and much more.
I also believe it's perfectly suited for a teenage audience, provided they're emotionaly stable and well educated.
    Go see it.

Kechiche may be an asshole, he's also a great director.

I don't speak French, but from my paltry knowledge of Italian and Spanish, it looks like Buster beat me to the punch.

Are there any emotionally stable, well educated teens in Amerika??? I don't know any.

But the film was amazing. Such emotion! What great actresses.

And the sex scenes?? OMFG, they could make a sailor blush! Bravo.

Only complaint...I think we could have shed about a half hour to 45 minutes. This was a beast to watch. 3 hours, 7 mins.

Hmm, I may need to rephrase "emotionally stable". That sound a little smug, especialy considering my son is 17...
Let's say, reasonably open minded and with an idea of love and sex that has not been exclusively shaped by youporn. Something like that.

And, I agree it could be shorter.
