Emergency: In dire need of Engelberg beta!

Me and 3 buddies are going to Engelberg for a long week-end, leaving this thursday (17 march). Hasn't been snowing for a good week, and snow-forecast.com doesn't really give reason to hope for any snow in the week to come. Having had SHIT conditions for my previous 3 skiing trips abroad, I am getting desperate to use the days in Engelberg in the best possible way.

So I am calling out to you, Euromaggots, what are the best tips to get some good skiing out of three days in Engelberg this coming weekend? We will have a rental car so we are able to get around a bit. Also we are more than prepared to do our fair share of hiking, rappelling etc. So come on, throw those great tips at me!

At the minute, Lech looks to have the best snow conditions around. Also due to the fact that it's usually rammed with fartbag wearing Hermans who never leave the pistes, it's where I'd be looking to score some pow turns this week.

    Dunno 'bout Engelberg.

Party hard in Yucatan, Eden, and Spindle. My first trip there last year I never saw my hotel room until after the sun rose 2 of the 3 nights I was there. This year was sort of similar, except I did get back to my pre-planned place of sleepage before sunrise each night. Oh, and do jump turns down the QP if Yves is watching. He likes that.

    Never been there.
    Wish I could help.
Not sure I am coming up.
    Got friends arriving same time.
    Enjoy.

Sorry to hear you can't make it TeleAl.

Anyways, in terms of SKIING TIPS IN Engelberg, I am not a whole lot smarter. Getting smashed for 3 days is of course a good alternative, but I really would like to get some skiing in.

No one knows about good touring possibly with the help of the lift system??

(C'mon I know there's someone in the know)

you can ski in Engelberg? The local lifts only got me this high...

FYI that ceiling is quite low. Watch your extensions as you could jam a finger or two.

and to think that nobody else would join me up there except for Ace Stanley. I even busted out the "air lasso" on a couple of the ladies to try to drag them up on the bar but was only met with confused looks. WTF???

To (not) answer your skiing questions: I don't know the names of any places in Eberg with the exceptions of Yucatan, Eden, Spindle, Okay, Laub, the QP where I almost started an international incident last year, and the Bellevue Terminus hotel aka Scandinavian Embassy aka skandalar befaras. Perhaps Danny at the Okay shop can steer you in the right direction for snow?
    Good luck. Have fun.
