I had this two weeks ago (it's been making the rounds here in Seattle) At one point it got so bad my hair hurt. Hang in there. This "thing" is a bad one. Took 10 lbs off me before I finally licked it. Residual cough still hanging on but I can feel it's fading.
Here's something I discovered that was very soothing. Not sure if you can find it in your area but it's worth a look:

I've had it for 9 weeks now. 3 courses of antibiotics and 3 courses of prednisone later, I'm still coughing up green nuclear waste. Freaking sucks - it is definitely making the rounds here in Seattle!

Who is Terry going to ski with now? Bob will be pissed if you don't beat that shit and keep his boy T company. Oh boy, I contracted pnemonia during basic training so they made me stay longer. What a bitch it was to try and sleep while coughing my lungs up. The only thing that made me feel better was running, that is until I stopped. I feel your pain.
