Looks good for an upcoming trip to Europe. B&H just dropped the price.

Here's an excellent review by a working photographer who loves his. Watch the video.

Am I talking to myself?
I use an xPro1. 99% the same thing as an XE1. It has its ups and downs, but for travel photography, I can't think of anything better. The only thing I miss about my DSLR is the instantaneous autofocus. The X cameras are still very fast, just not that positive immediate autofocus that a DSLR has. The ability for me to carry an entire camera system with three very fast primes in a small bag or the top of my backpack is priceless for me. I look back on a few of my trips Ive taken and thought how much more shots I would have gotten with this camera than my D700.
Thank you. On to B&H.
Benny,
What did you end up getting? I've been shooting an x100s for the last 9 months or so and absolutely love it. They fixed every damn thing everyone complained about in the first go-round. The autofocus is awesome (the manual focus is pretty damn cool too). It's fast, sharp, and travels well.
I hate to say it, but aside for some jobs I've shot, the DSLR hasn't come out of the bag much. Have even used the x100s on a few jobs as well, taking advantage of the leaf-shutter sync speeds for lighting, if you're into that kind of thing.
I shoot professionally with a 5d2 and an xe-1. I would not rely on the XE alone because of AF and resolution - but for most jobs it is fine.
The 35mm lens is a winner, but on the longer end for reportage... I prefer 35mm over 5xmm on 135 size sensor. The 18 is only OK. The 60 is stupid sharp but a pain to use.
I think I'll stick w 35L on my canon and go to 14 and 35 on the Fuji.
Colors and dynamic range are outstanding on the Fuji. Often beats my 5d2.
I love the results of shooting in RAW and processing through Aperture.
I got the XE1. Bit of a discount because they were coming out with the XE2. So far, I am impressed. I am off to Italy tomorrow to shoot a lot. I'll be back with some pix.
Yes, the leaf shutter on the 100s puts it into a different world than the XEs. Read David Hobby's blog entry in my post above about all that. He is the Strobist. I want to get familiar with this thing before I branch out into artificial light. I've taken some urban night shots already without flash, and I'm happy. I'll be roaming around Florence doing the same.
Hey, even the NYT has validated my choice. I'm so cutting edge.
