So it looks as if I will be working in Cooper landing this year doing scenic floats of the keani river and leading birdwatching tours. This isn't exactally what I wanted, no wait it is, no pressure to catch people fish. I can see people when I want to (as opposed to living where there are 8 people and no roads I will live where there are 50 people and a road). I am now officially stoked for this summer, I can see it now:
Wild parties at Maui beach when my buddies have time off
Hiking to the snowfield behind cresent lake and skiing/ fishing for grayling
Guiding rich tourists (who tip well, I hope) down one of the prettiest river in the world
Learning the toughest river to fish in Alaska intimently
Fishing every day
Random epic bike rides to seward via russian lakes pass
Importing certain things to cooper landing that are in high demand
going to prince willam sound on my days off to hunt deer/ drink with my teacher
having my own cabin in the woods
soooo sooo stoked I hope it all works out
