They are 195. I believe the dimensions are 105ish-73ish-92ish they have been drilled for solly s900 binders. Not exactly sure of the flex except for the fact that they are really stiff. The top sheet has a few chips but nothing too bad. The bases and edges are in excellent condition.

    FGS...

195, 88 in waist, batman graphics, flex is on the softer side. Mounted with Solly 900s (may or may not part with them...to be determined). One mount. Got them used, but bases and edges still solid. One repaired shot that went to the kevlar layer. This has been sitting second to the SuperNobis...

    throw out a bone...

How'd that kevlar perform on that shot, Johannus? Did it stop the rock?
Curious about the kevlar, not for buying the skis.

Splat, I had a similar experience, Kevlar stopped the rock cold - ptex scraped away, so you could see the "core", but there was still a bunch of clear, milky material before the wood. Kinda like linoleum or something. No wood to flake out, so it never even got to the core, and the ptex that was melted back in to cover it bonded really well with the kevlar - you can't see the repair, and it's never flaked or scraped out. I was really, really impressed.

    Hey Splat,

Echoing JB's comments, the Kevlar strip stopped the rock from damaging the wood core. The ptex just tore right out without any denting or ripping of the kevlar/underlying wood layer. So, there wasn't any moisture working its way into the core. Real happy about that. The repair was done so well you can't see where it is, and it's stuck ever since. I wonder if the kevlar has greater bonding features that makes it more user-friendly for repairs? Any engineers out there?

It's a great design feature and wish more skis implemented the same.

    Talking

Kevlar doesn't work too good at deflecting .223 rounds at close-ish range (shot up a kevlar helmet with an AR-15, rounds went right through), but you didn't hear that from me.

Works like a peach in stopping 9-mil though. So maybe wrap yourself with the stuff before going into Compton?

Heh - there's a use for old Igneous boards - cut them up to make bulletproof suits, like medieval suits of armor.
