I'm in and I definitely want pig! Have to think about what I can bring that will keep okay all day while we're working on the mountain. Maybe guacamole ingredients that I can put together in the afternoon...

I have never been to magic (there I said it....)

I will be at Ullfest and most likely work day. Should I start collecting hollow logs for the fire and grubs ("maggots") for said luge????

I may be dense, but nowhere have I found a date. I can't find a published date for Magic's work day, either.

Oh, don't wory we'll sacrifice and burn plenty of green...oh, wait, wut?

I agree about burning skis; it can give you a headache if you accidentally inhale some of the fumes, and I've never seen any kind of proof that it helps with the snow totals for the season.

a Couple years ago I went to a 'pray for snow' party in Utah at my buddies place. They burned a pair of perfectly good Volkl Explosivs! ....worse ski season on record.

    10/12.

Looking forward to MPPG's cider, lots of swine & good times.

I'm too lazy to go up to Waterbury for HT's this year - hopefully someone else will pick up the slack. I'll order a keg of a tasty IPA instead - should be much less of a hassle.

After discussing it with DW this weekend and determining that we can get power to the lot, I will be bringing up my portable music blaster. I'll be happy (no, really, I can go on all fucking day about this shit) to share the details with anyone that's interested, but the actual output is a Peavey keyboard combo amp (3 x 132W amp sections) driving a horn and 15" Black Widow. Should be plenty loud enough.

You guys should see if you can get the Wild Country Cloggers to swing by. They'll be at the Peru Fair the week before.

The dioxins (serious carcinogens and endocrine disruptors) that volatilize out of burned plastic are gnarly. I support the idea of no longer burning skis.

This is gunna be sweet. I can almost taste that Jameson-spiked cider and bacon now.

I can bring my Honda super quiet generator, some cords, lights, etc. It powered a live band, lights and PA, so should cover any needs.
