    Retiring from TGR - Bye

Well, sadly the day has come as we all knew that it would. Sunday I am passing a milestone of age that sadly, means I am officially gonna be irrelevantly old.

I'm retiring myself from the TGR community and board. I am simply too old to keep up with the whippersnappers and don't get after it enough to stay even sort of relevant. As such, today is my last day here and I want you all to know that I had a great, long run (1998!). Those who I keep up with offline will of course continue to hear from me.

    Cheers!

Who else is going to champion the TGR drinking team?

Shit, if those are the requirements for retirement, half of us need to get the hell out of here.

You do what you need to but your wittyness will be missed if you make this "your final decision".

    Pussy.

    What is the age milestone?

Frank: I told my wife I wouldn't drink tonight. Besides, I got a big day tomorrow. You guys have a great time.
College Student: A big day? Doing what?
Frank: Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

I, for one, would be bummed to see one of our most stellar contributors leave. Please, if you are serious, reconsider.

BTW - that one story you posted (you know which one) was easily the post of the year!

Yeah, I've almost succumbed to that self pitying type of poop sonny.

Instead, I rationalize it based on my inability to communicate effectively, constructively or humorously. Especially when I thought I was.

Shit, I just got here and I'm probably older than you. Guess I'd better fade out.
