    I need some smalltime legal advice/help in WA state

    I got scammed by a someone on another site, the moderators closed his account. They are now threatening me with legal action regarding Slander.
    Thats all I want to disclose here any Ideas who to talk to.

    What do you mean by threatening? Have you received anything from their/an attorney?

    Slander is the most frequently threatened and least frequently acted upon claim. Until you are served an actual lawsuit that has been filed with an actual court, don't waste your time or effort.

    Haven't received anything other than misrepresented unusable product. All I want is my money back.

    Do you want help getting your money back or advice on the "slander" allegation? As others have said, and I completely agree, the mere allegation is oft-used by armchair idiots. Nothing to worry about. So, to the former. Did you use any conduits for the purchase? Paypal, ebay, etc? I am leaning towards garnishing his wages.     I don't really want to escalate it. Though I know you guys would do very very well.

    It was purchased through paypal and I have a claim started but they haven't even asked me for information 5 days later.
