Some things are better left unknown. The age of the goat, that is. Who the dispute was with would be interesting.

Did the mountain shut down? The past two avi events I was there for, they closed the place down to focus on search. Which makes sense. You pretty much need to perform a probe line and assume riders would not be beeping.

I was at Kirkwood today. I skied Eagle Bowl after 2pm. Mountain did not close.

Eagle got hammered from a blast triggered slide off Cirque this morning.

O sweet heaven! The house of powder was full of fluffy goodness this morning . . .

freaky an inbounds slide at Kirkwood - I "thought" things seemed stable at P-house, this reinforces how little I know about avies.

I might be skiing in the morning but not 100%. Possible?

It was a rollover, into the bowl. I imagine it was getting wind loaded and they hit it just right. As slides go, it sounds like it was pretty small. P-house, I understand is a bit different, so your instincts may have been correct for where you were.

A lot of the chutes in Mott and killebrew went naturally. Heavely had 10 to 14 that skied bottomless, really fantastic low crowd sleeper day, skied bell to bell and got fresh tracks all day.

I'm assuming thats what caused it to crack or break, but I honestly have no idea. I was skinning on the flats above incline lake when my ski literally fell off from the binding breaking. No obvious precursors, hadn't even swapped from tour to downhill yet today, which is when the problem would occur (I'd think). This binding has been kind of bunk from the start, I would swap it for the duke if I still had that option.

Looking to get a hookup somehow on a lift ticket to Squaw one of the next weekends. Anyone have any leads? I don't have enough time for the licence plate deal

how can a maggot aviod paying full pop for lift tickets?

I would like to ask the community for some help to avoid paying full pop for lift tickets.

I'm coming to ski with my family and kids at Heavenly Wed March 19- Sat March 22nd. Look Heavenly Flats is not my idea of where I want to ski but I have two young kids and a green circle skiing wife.

So any ideas about how to avoid paying full pop for a Heavenly lift ticket? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I will ski Kirkwoood with the family on Sunday March 23 and any ideas there? The two kids and wife will need ski rentals on that day as well.

If anyone is skiing Sugar Bowl Monday march 24-Wed March 26 please PM me. Then I can pretend like I know how to ski.

saw a number of people with broken bindings today. Putting the skis away today I had solid snow packed tight into one toe piece. I'm lucky I didn't prerelease or need a release.
