Do you remember, how I've trashed my LOOK toepiece?

Now you can see the pics with similar damage. It's the second issue, which russian LOOK dealer knows about... but I was the first one!!!

    seen that happen before too.

We had one come into our store, the guy that had apparently set the binders up in France had not adjusted the DIN right. Heels were both okay, but the busted toe was like +3 din and the other toe was -1. Fortunately, the woman didnt hurt herself (somehow!), and as it was the last day of her trip didin't take them back to the store. Was only when we saw them on her return home...

    Still looks freaky as shit.

At least to say, it shouldn´t make a fucking difference!

If the bindigs go up to,say fourteen, and you break them at 9,10 or lets say eleven, it is still a fuuupp..

I took a relatively large spiller 2 winters ago, and the toewings was chipped on 2 or 3 different locations, but nothing that big that duboix has there..

And no, the rossis/looks are not indestructible.
I have broken allready one heelpiece, and one is maybe on the verge to explode.
The importer/distributor said that it was the first heelpiece broken/returned to him in his 10 year career.
I really wonder it, since im not a brofessional skier by any standards..

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

Mine was tightened to 9... I was maching on my MoJo's and my skis stuck into some bump which was covered by warm spring snow... I've made a frontflip with my skis on, then landed on my heels and made one more flip - skis came off, and then I've found them just right as on this picture. I had such release cases before (when LOOK toepiece stuck rotated by 90 degrees) without breaking any part of it. But that day I've fucked them up.

Idris could fix them with some JB Weld, duct tape and chicken wire.

Wasn't trying to imply that it was due to the DIN, just commenting that that was a mess too - and that said Tech was lucky it wasn't noticed before the woman got home. Imagine the lawsuit if it had been found at the time and she'd had a serious injury....thats what I was getting at. 'Cos the guys at Look would throw it straight back to the shop and the "lack of training" they'd given their tech, if he couldn't even get the DINs even.

I ride Looks and whilst that hasn't happened to mine, I've trashed mine after a couple of season on them as well. Massive slop in the heel pieces....so I know first hand that they are indestructable....
