First off, it does seem pretty rad from an "everything in one place" point of view. I would be interested in having it when it comes out on Android. Yes, there are obviously implications that it might tempt less-experienced folks to supplant hands on knowledge/training with an app, but they thankfully address that in the article.
But does anyone find irony that a beacon manufacturer might not see some risk encouraging people to keep their phones on during a b/c day in close proximity to their beacon? I would view this as a parking lot only type of tool from that perspective. Maybe I'm naive or overly cautious, but it does seem like a risk.
