Found gopro

My GF found a gopro at Mt. Rainier. I know it's a long shot but maybe someone here knows someone that lost this one. Any suggestions on how to find the owner?

The camera might be registered so maybe the serial number might give you a hint... Not sure if you could grab that data from gorpo website, maybe trying to contact them and let the owner know

Easy, but intrusive.. just get the footage off it, look for something in it the owner would recognize, and ask any claimers to verify ownership based on said footage. They'd probably forgive the snooping if it meant getting the hardware (and footage if any good) returned.
