Kane is back at it again today...He single handedly beat me in Fantasy these last 2 weeks.
Tense scenes in the Liverpool/Boro game.
Not only one of the top 10 players of all time, but Zidane is a pretty good manager. Not a big stats guy but read last season, Real Madrid had five players who were on the pitch for 2,450 league minutes. This season, they had none. Ronaldo's minutes in La Liga went down 23 percent while his goals in all competitions after April 1 went up 40 percent. No fan of Madrid fan, well, at least not Real. Hope Buffon and Juventus take the CL.
Zidane was a phenomenal player. Turns out he is a damn good manager too. Those 2 are sometimes mutually exclusive.
They think I do not know a buttload of crap about the Gospel, but I do.
Championship playoff final has just gone to extra time. Very good 90 minutes.

Huddersfield promoted to the PL. First time ever playing with the big boys. Congrats to them and their fans.
Relegation and promotion add so much more complexity to the season. I understand that american sports ownership would never tolerate it, but it would eliminate a lot of the meaningless games at the end of the season.
...and motivate some chronically terrible and complacent teams to get their act together or GTFO
The biggest hit to a relegation team is the TV revenue. The bottom clubs in the Premiere League earn approximately £40m form TV revenue, after relegation the Championship league that figure is around £3m. The Premier League soften the blow by giving parachute payments to relegated teams for the four seasons following their relegation. For the first two years, the payment is £16m per year; for years three and four it drops to £8m per year.
The other hit comes in commercial rights. Most sponsor have a relegation clause and clubs often loose major sponsors. This has ben tracked at around £5m per year.
Its estimated that a club will loose £25m the first season of relegation, and increase to £33m per year and then £41m per year after the parachute payments end.
This is motivation for a club to perform well in the championship leave to get back to the Premiere league before the money runs out and they have to sell off most of the talent.
I wish they'd introduce relegation to NCAA football. Top 16 play for the championship, bottom four of those are relegated back to the normal divisions as we know them, top 4 of the outside looking in rotate in for the next season.
Pretty obvious why that would never work, so we get the BCS instead.
Wait...what??
My old club is in the 4th round in the US Open Cup. They play DC United this week. Should be interesting!
