Mexico fans got some instant Karma delivery right at the end of the Gold Cup game against Trinidad and Tobago

That was a thing of beauty.

    US lose 1-2.

Guzan in goal was culpable for both goals. Way out of position after giving up the free kick for handling outside the box.

Bradley, despite scoring on a rebound, is just not good enough to be a true #10. He gives it away constantly.

Serves them right. Any team that Dempsey is part of deserves to lose.
Don't count your eggs before they hatch boys. Surprise! Reggae Boyz learned a lot at Copa America it seems.

    Edit

    I'm surprised at Guzan's errors. He's a good keeper.

I'm not surprised at the team's failings. I was underwhelmed that Bradley and Dempsey ran from England and Italy. They gave up. Weak.

Holy shit that Mex-Pan game. What a circus.

    Terrible PK against Panama.

When are there going to be consequences for those Mexican fans throwing shit?

And Jesus Panama went beserk towards the referee (although he was shitty)

Mexico has only gotten thru the last two games with the referees' liberal assistance. I think Panama was remonstrating on the behalf of CR as well.
    In with the 9.

Totally random bump, except woooo for the Charity Shield, or whatever...

I will happen to be in Rome on the night of the Serie A opener between Lazio and Bologna (8/22). How in the world does one go about looking for tickets to this? You'd think they'd pander to moneyed internet skiers and dentists, but I am yet to find an English language site that isn't a spambot/third-hand ticket reseller

    Any help would be appreciated

I ended up in A-Dam on the night of a NED-ITA friendly several years ago, and even being in town, scoring a ticket was tough. Ended up just going to the stadium and finding someone who was selling one there. Ended up being one of the great nights of my life.

It just occurred to me... That's ten years ago now. Ouch...

    How'bout Arsenal/Liverpool?

That didn't suck... Bummer about the disallowed goal, but that's one of the few instances in which luck seemed to even itself out. How many times can the ball find the outward 46th degree of the post?

    Great game.

I have been following Iceland's qualification for awhile. Amazing for a country with 330,000 people. I'll be pulling for them.

Think Klinsmann is under some real pressure now. He tinkers so much the team has no flow and continuity. Players are not sure what they are supposed to do.

He also talks about our guys needing to play at the highest level, yet he is still giving minutes to a guy playing college soccer. College soccer ain't like college football. It's a joke compared to the level 18-22 year olds everywhere else in the world play.

My patience is wearing thin with him. If he loses the Mexico game in October, he may lose his job.

Klinsman's inability to scout talent out of MLS should get him canned. Instead of trying out new formations with players who are playing out of position, he should be injecting some of these promising young players into the lineup. Haters are going to hate on the MLS, but Powers and Lletget are creative and attacking players who need to get called up.

Bruce Arena should have a second go at the USMNT. He understand US talent, mentality and won't bring in players who are riding pine in the 2. bundesliga just because they aren't playing in the MLS.
Charlie, here comes the deuce. And when you speak of me, speak well.

You guys catch the Argentina Mexico game? Lavezzi, Aguero, and la pulga turned that match around in 10 minutes.

I loved Klinsman as a player, but his results as a USMNT coach are abysmal. Time to get some new blood in there. We should see results by now. Brazil completely shat on us. If it wasn't for a goal from 1,200 yards out, it would have been 4-1.
