arent all the new fat bikes coming with 27.5 not 26 ? if all you get is pow no problem but you will probably want studs pretty quick for freeze/ thaw

Not really. I think 26" is still more common.

If the trails near your home allow FATe,
then definitely go electric. It just expands how far, how deep and how much you will actually ride.
