    Exclamation EC Roll Call 3/10-3/13

Who will be where? I'll be skiing Gore Thursday and Friday, Saturday will be either at Owls Head or a secret backcountry locale in Quebec, and Sunday will be whatever we don't do Saturday. Anyone gonna be able to meet up for some turns? The forecasts look promising over the next week or so, so get out for some turns.

Oh yeah, and there is a slight chance that Monday (03/14) will either be at Gore of skiing some High Peaks backcountry.

    Talking

Very funny. If you want specifics on the bc we plan on skiing Saturday or more likely Sunday in Quebec, PM me about it. The beta is fairly long winded, so I didn't feel like posting it in a simple roll call thread. We have reason to believe that what we plan on skiing will be a first descent.

For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Alright I can't take it, we're skiing a super seceret bc zone in...what's that place called again? Nashoba Valley=straight up nasty shit. come on now, we can't hide it. Everyone knows that a the super steezy nasty gnar is found in Mass.

What looks to be in the best shape friday?

    Any ideas?

Supposed to be staying at someone's place near Killington on friday night, but I have that day off and it's open.

Here is what Roemer from Bestskiweather.com is saying about the Mad River Valley for this week through the weekend...it's going to be EPIC!!!!!

    Tuesday, March 8, Update-

We are on the verge of having a major snowstorm here and there will be an extremely fine line between those areas that get a foot or more here by later tonight and those regions just to our west than only see a few inches.

This is a tricky forecast and I may have to scale down my snow amounts by a few inches, which would be the first time I have done this all winter.

The latest map, valid for tonight, shows an intense blizzard moving towards Maine. The solid blue and white areas represent snowfall in excess of 2 feet that may fall there. However, we are just on the edge of the heavier snow. The yellow region shows the demarkation between where there may be 12"+ and those regions to the west with less than 3." We are right on the edge of this.

There is dry air circulating into the storm that may cut down amounts some. However, the overall pattern remains active and our feeling from last week that 1 and possibly 2 feet of snow would fall between March 6th and the 13th still holds true.

Tomorrow will feature some of the coldest weather in weeks with sub-zero wind chill factors. Improvement is likely after that, with more snow Friday and a possible nor'easter for the weekend.

I still look for 7-14" by later tonight, with additional snows Friday into the weekend giving us weekly totals of at least 12-18" and possibly more, depending on the weekend storm.

I love reading the guys forecasts, but I don't believe a word of them. Anyone else care to join me/us on any given day, now including Monday 03/14?

Or maybe the Stowe crew could come over to the dark side for a change. No mafia on the dark side.........................................just rednecks with shotguns. Come to the dark side, even though nothing of any interest ever goes on here.

The numbers are still coming in, but it looks like Jay might've done the best with 16".

They're doing a 3 for 1 deal on friday. 3 tickets for $56. Great deal!

    Anyone interested?

Should be good, as the lifts will probably be on wind hold today and maybe tommorow.
