Isle of Palms surfing?

Headed to isle of palms/Sullivan's island for a week. Is there any surfing? I'm not good and don't need huge waves to have fun.

Bert's is ok. You might have a hard time there on low tide. If I were newer, I'd head to Folly Beach Pier. There's a surf shop right in front of it that you can rent from. You should also check the Washout, just in case. They let you drive in without paying to do a ten minute surf check, IIRC.

Edit: If you do go to Folly, and the wind is howling, don't go out north of the pier. You will get pulled(smashed) right through the pilings.
