FS: Scott A2 5wt

Scott A2 9' 2 piece 5 weight (905-2)

Rod is used but in good shape. Cork has some soiling and a tiny eraser-sized chunk out of it, and blank has some minor scuffing from normal wear and tear. Will post pics later today.
Reel seat in great shape (carbon fiber look), but aluminum butt has some scratching. Comes in original tube. Rod is a med-fast action - just never seemed to fit my sub-par casting and fishing style.

Asking $95 shipped. I'm thinking this is a good deal, but let me know if I'm off in the price.

I had one of these in a 4wt that got stolen. It was a good rod and this is a good price.

Thanks for the bump gretch. I'm willing to work with any mags on that price too, so people shouldn't hesitate to throw out an offer.

PM sent. I've been asked to take a teenager on the river for a few days this summer, who's been raised by the state, but recently became an adult and put out on his own. I would like to leave him with the basic tools to continue afterwards and I believe this rod would be perfect. Cheers!

I have a reel with a 5 line that I could donate to this cause. It's nothing special, but it will match the rod and get the job done.

Thanks, I may actually have that taken care of, I'll let you know otherwise. I may need some old waders and boots, but not sure of sizing yet. I'm happy to patch if needed.
