    ISSUE CLOSED!

OK, so the innuendos could go on forever, but this issue is closed as far as I'm concerned.

Cove puts out a great product, and if you break it, they will seriously hook you up. It just takes patience. If I didn't live in the same corner of the country as them, I don't know if I would deal with this type of stuff.

    Here's the new build:

All in all it built up pretty sweet, and I think it may even be lighter than the steel frame.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

Sweet! Was the frame you broke steel?

Yeah, it was Columbus Nivacrom. Super thin wall, butted and funky shaped. In my neighborhood test rides today the Easton RAD tubing is noticably different. On the steel, manualing off curbs the rear wheel hits with a nice muted "thoink", now it hits with a big sharp "PANG!". Although in comparison to some other Al frames I've ridden (Big S, Trek, Cannondale) this one seems to have a smooth touch.

Unfortunately as soon as I got it built the skies opened up with rain so no real trail rides yet.

Reminds me a little of a P3. Very sweet. I still prefer "thoink" over "PANG"
