Yeah, I suppose this could be gear swap. Leave me alone. Today I skied a sick line in baldy chutes area, was going mach 3 (more or less), hit the ballroom traverse and exploded. After retrieving the ski that released, I discovered one of the wings on the toe piece had broken off. Not the whole thing but the black part on the end. The gentleman at the Alta ski shop said this tends to happen, and if I send the binding in they will fix it. Hurray. Does anyone have one of these (left side) and some directions of how to fix it? I guess the whole thing needs to be dissassembled. BOOOO.

It's not really possible to truly fix it yourself. It took Look a week for them to return some different toepieces back to me. No charge. Just fyi.

I have a "fixed" toepiece on my looks, so yes it can be done.
It was done in a shop though. Dont know what kind of shopmonkey you are, Pacrim, but it might be easier to get it fixed or replaced.
The floggings will continue until morale improves.
