Working in Jackson for the summer and RV parks

I am considering going to Jackson for the summer. Would the first week of May be a good time to go find a job? Are there any RV parks close to town that don't have outrageous lot fees?

Early May is an ok time to find a job, but if it is seasonal, don't expect too many hours until mid June. RV parks are very spendy.
