    Wolverine, Silver fork 3/3/05

I had a lazy day today. Took a lap off Tusc, a wolverine lap, and a silve fork lap where I met up with Seth, and a run back down into Grizzly. Definitely not Timpanogas, but what can ya do. The weather did roll in in the afternoon, so we probably didn't make too bad of a decision bailing on it.

I was solo for the first part of the day, so no action shots. The new camera works great!

First line - chute Y off Tuscarora.

Got to the top of Wolvie, and snapped this shot with my super cool 10X zoom. Soon.

Second line - Diagonal in Wolverine.

Ran into Seth at the top of Silver fork. He took this sweet drop, but I screwed up my burst mode, being a newbie with the camera. But you can see it would have been cool.

I couldn't have got this shot with the old camera - Seth charging. The snow was weird - it looked deep, but as soon as I got on it I was like "whoa" - quite smooth and fast.

I'll get off my ass and do something worthy this weekend - really.

    10x zoom, holy shit!

Nice day in the front country, eh?

Save some energy this weekend for the four peaks in 48 hours in the Uintas.

Hey whattup man, I think I saw you at the top of Wolverine, a friend and I were just getting ready to go when you got there. Sick day out there for sure, still plenty of good snow to be had.

Yes, that is the Hypo, and Coalpit.

Coalpit was skied a couple days ago by Steady Eddie from T-tips. Along with Timp and the NE Couloir on Lone Peak. All day after day.

    Nice beta pic gramps.

Heh, I was taking pictures of everything today, trying to get used to the camera...

That was you guys that skiied Roman's, right? Diagonal was definitely my second choice, looked like you guys got some primo turns in there. I would have hung around and tried to get some shots of ya skiing out if I'd known you were on the board.

I think a thunder ridge/Coalpit is in the works for Saturday... :

Yeah that was us. We did get some really good stuff in there. I took a spill when I skiied it and felt like an idiot, so it's probably best you didn't snap any pics. The apron was really smooth too. Hopefully I see you out there again sometime. Nice pics by the way

Jeez gramps, you are SO lazy.

Sweet pictures and lines. I'd like to get a couple lazy days like that over the next couple of weeks.
