Cool concept that seems like it could be done better to make it more spectator/video friendly. I bet it'll be done more better next year

    That was dull.

And pre-event small group "athlete" worship is overplayed, but apparently essential.

Great start for a new event into a soon to be classic format.

I took a long korean BBQ dump and watched it. The venue did not look like the big photo at the finish.

Nice lines and a pow day…FREE CHINESE TAKEOUT FOR EVERYONE. alta rebellion

I agree they could have had better footage (zoom cameras on the guys on the headwall, better POV). If you've skied Fernie you know how impressive these runs are (at that speed).

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

I kept meaning to get get a picture cuz wholey fuck look at the gear but I never did

I think there is more than one home defence base cuz it was a different bunch in Niseko all of them had a leather work boot with no duck bill boot

The bindings were all a front thro cable-on-heel-shelf and a stop bolted on the front

they all had the white camo skis that would get lost in a sno bank

yep... them things weren't easy for the new guys to pick up on. their instructor though, was stylin' with much steeze, and we were not invaded by the neither chinese or ruskies on that day, so they must have been doing somthin right.

just me and them fellas on the lift that day. reminded me of skiing at snow ridge when was a kid, watchin' the army drop off a bunch of southern boys from fort drums 10th mt divsion for their first time on skis. fucking riot! they'd go up in nice clean green cotton camo's on 140 elans with spadman bindings and come down soaking wet, with snow sticking to every bit of that cotton uniform and missing half their skis, poles, hats gloves... but still grinnin' and havin' a grand 'ol time. well, probably not the ones that ended up in the meat wagon, but the rest of had fun and the ski area was not invaded by russians on that day either.

I think Japan has to call it " self defence " after losing the the big one ... WWII, but they got even with Honda & Toyota

there is a base right in Niseko and another base in a defunct ski area to lookers left around Annupuri
