    shooting a hockey game pointers/tips

I figured I'd throw this out here as someone must do this kind of thing, I don't or should I say never have. It will just be for fun but would like to get at least a few pics that are "printworthy" for a couple of proud parents. Kinda looking for some insite to WB, stop settings and such. I like shooting landscapes and street/documentary photo's and this is most always outdoors in my case so obviously a bit of help is in order.
You know, you can swear on this site. Fuck, shit bitch. See?

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again

Ice is very bright white -> your sensor is going to try to make it gray. Figure out how much to overexpose such that it isn't/the players are not underexposed
