Big Sky runs on rumor, little of it is 100% true, most contains minor kernels.

The primary electrical drive fried on Sunday.

The BS lift Maint. guys made a maximum effort and pulled the motor, (no small feat) sent it to IF for a refit and managed to get it back in on Wed.

Upon trying to run the Tram with the rebuild, something failed, not sure what. Still closed today from their website.

I know my staff is getting an 11:00 ride to try and maintain some sort of control on the N. Summit and the BSSP is doing the same with the terrain they manage. Otherwise they have been hiking to routes the past couple of days.

Beyond that, we are trying to leave the Big Sky Mtn Ops folks alone so they can sort it out.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
