I am out on the hill solo, so shout out Change for a Nickel. Gold jacket, black pants, on Bro 183s, or I'll see you on the beach.

    Cheers

Krystal not skiing, so we are not on the hill today. Owen and I will be out tomorrow.

Looks like we'll just be hanging at our campsite tonight. Better for the kids, plus we've got other friends rolling in.

ID:	137362 today. They know how to do it right. Good BBQ, peeps, and beverages. Mother nature even threw in some fresh for us.

Let's play tag that mag. Here are some photos from Paranoids today. I know the real first names. Who can correctly guess the user names of the following?

    1.

    (This is a 2 for 1)

    2.

(1 of the 2 from the previous photo)

    3.

(other of the 2 from the first photo)

    4.

(okay, if you need a hint, this is not Glen Plake)

Photochop did the best it could on the poor light provided while the graupel thunderstorm was rolling in.

It was fun to ski with and meet so many people today.

Ran into a group that were clearly from south of the border at the top of chair 2. I couldn't make it to the BBQ but thanks for the invite!

^ May have been the appropriate call. Because I have a pass and Mrs G2A had a comp ticket, we ventured out on the mountain today for 1 cm of freshies on boilerplate. I have learned a lot about these conditions this season so I was confident. The problem was that it was the stickiest 1 cm I have skied in quite some time. It was one of those days to "aim for the brown" as it offered the fastest snow.

We lapped 1, 2, and G2 until about 12:30 and called it. May have seen some other mags at the Mill as there were some Lhasas in the rack besides mine...

So I'm standing at the bottom of Ellery bowl this afternoon, changing out of my gear, when a car pulls up, and we start shooting the shit. Turns out, it's splat and Stuntcok, looking at Tioga on their way home. Super nice guys, glad I got to meet them.

On a side note, if any of you are still in town and wanna ski, I'll probly be up there checking it out. Left my job in SLC yesterday to work out here for the summer, and have only skied Mammy once, and didn't get a feel for what it had to offer.

You went in too early, Stunt and I headed back out after a bite thinking it was going to be a gloppy mess, but with a little cloud cover and a light wind the temp dropped and firmed the snow to a really sweet corn. It was good all the down until a couple hundred very above The Mill. We got some great end of the day laps.

Hot springs are never a bad call, though. I hit Hilltop at sunset and got some nice color in the sky.

I am around today Monday, and tomorrow if anybody wants to hook up. I am a little slow this AM after too much wine last PM, and it is a heavy over cast, so unless you are in a race clinic it is going to be nasty for awhile.

Stopped by the BBQ Sat. Said hello to Mitch and put a face to Big Tim
It was nice meeting Sue and Gordon in the qondi .
Had a hot dog and Toms Ceviche was most excellent.
Thanks to all who put this on.

Made my connection this time so I will be off to Japan within the hour. Thanks to everyone for their great hospitality! The beers, the food, the laps and the laughs- I felt at home with the Mammoth mags and had a great time at what I have found is a really under-appreciated mountain.

After years of threatening to come down I finally made it and my only disappointment was with the inconsistent in runs on some of the park features. It is hard to throw down at my age unless everything is perfect. I did have one hell of a rail crash, though, and walked away unscathed, which is more than I can say for some of the drinking sessions, which did leave a mark. Drinking with maggots is, indeed, more hazardous than even the mammoth big boy park!

    Again thanks to all.

Ps. Truckee Joe, sorry to hear about your girlfriends skis. If is any consolation, I left you my park skis as promised.

Mammoth under appreciated? Odd, Come back in winter might never ski Tahlow again! Kidding, but not really. One observation - that chick seemed to sew a bunch of shit on her pants? Did she really sew a mustache on her zipper near her woo woo ?

Oh, yeah, but the real winner was this guy - he sewed one on his face!

Glad you made your connection, and had a good time. It was fun ending your trip with some good turns and some good brews.

I forgot about the keg toss! Second place overall- first amongst the maggots. The winner had snowboard boots, which gives an unfair balance advantage, methinks
