    Mile High TR

We decided to go skiing after school at lunch, the weather was perfect and there was new ultra light in the mountains. After school a mad dash was on to gather gear and get to the trail head. We had a solid crew of 5 skiers and only one with very little BC skiing experiance, he was kinda a gaper when it came to rigging skis and such but whatever, I was a gaper like that once too. We hiked strait up to the top of mile high and looked out over the valley
    the crew

Eagle Mt. is the pointy one

Vista, to be skied by me soon

Mt. GOrdon lyon is the pointy one (also on the to ski list), then next to it lookers left is Rendeavous Peak, the top of Alpenglow

We decided to keep going up teh ridge heres us at the top

I thought this had something to do with the mile high club.

    I hope it doesn't.

Not shabby, but it looks like you compressed your pics vertically.

the day ended with a sunset

    cool, powder monkey. Nice pics.

So it seems like every TR you take a pic of a line you've 'wanted forever.' Someone's gonna beat you to more than just that one unless you get on it. Now's your chance, mang. You may not have that chance much longer.

Just because someone else skied it, there's no reason to not take seconds on something like that.

[QUOTE=powderwhore]Please tell me you all took off your beacons just for the shot?
    QUOTE]

thats the reason we didn't ski any of the lines I have wanted forever, only one of us has a beacon, hense we skied the low angle powder, no complaints here To be fair in my 17 years of living in this valley I have seen 1 avelanche, wich killed two people, but that was after a 3 foot dump most of the time the snow pack is a huge thick layer of ice...

But yea I need a beacon bad, it should be coming just in time for the corn season then we won't be restricted to such pussy terrain

And guess who the Gaper was just by looking at the skis...

That far from the equator there is much less gravity, hence the heads are not so compelled to be closer to the center of the earth. What?

No, Just the one's from Chicken Gulch!!

Akpm, It is statements like these:
"To be fair in my 17 years of living in this valley I have seen 1 avelanche, wich killed two people, but that was after a 3 foot dump most of the time the snow pack is a huge thick layer of ice... "&"But yea I need a beacon bad, it should be coming just in time for the corn season then we won't be restricted to such pussy terrain" which solicit responces like the following: "Please tell me you all took off your beacons just for the shot?" and "Other than the very real possibility of AKPM's death"

and post some more of those "poachable" line pics!!!
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.
