What that will translate to on/in snow is TBD. I have thoughts concerning for instance tail-slishy-slashynessability. Will be interesting for sure to find out in real life. What do you think?

You're going to love them. They are so nimble in fresh, easy to slish slash or easy to arc massive turns in an open snow field. I have 192 Yetis and 192 GPO (x2) and while acknowledging the stronger alpine boots I use with the GPOs, the Yetis are more locked in and harder to slish slash. IIRC my generation Yeti is a narrow BC.

No, I did not. But I can weigh them as they sit, once I get back home on the coming weekend.

Since I’m an insert nerd, I’m inclined to put a bunch of holes in my new GPOs… an alpine set and pow skipping AT set. But reading on mount points I may go two alpine toe sets. First at the line cuz I love pivoty in the trees, bumps, tight spaces. If that’s alpine toe set #1, then #2 would be pow mount… should I go back to say -2 for that one? Thoughts?
(I’ll also need to check hole conflict with the ATs)

I’m definitely not techy/smart enough to fiddle with mount points so take my advice with many large grains of road salt, but I just have my GPOs mounted on the dot and that seems to work great for just about everything I can throw at them.

I think Praxis did a pretty kickass job with this one.

I guess since I want slashy/pivoty version, I'll start with a toe set on the line. And then can decide if I want some more float with some further back toe holes - but can/should wait on that

Theyre still slashy and pivoty at -1 and its still a relatively progressive mount point. But then many do like them on the dimple. Sounds like you know what works for you. Such a quality wood core in praxis skis i have no problem remointing back 1cm if need be, although usually id maje sure i was a minimum of 1.2cm

I had my first pair mounted -1 and when I remounted different touring bindings I ended up just a hair fwd of the line. It's skis great there.
My new pair is getting alpine binders but I intend to mount on the line.

(fwiw: original pair is drilled 2.5x. old holes filled with hardwood and gflex, still going strong)

Ohmigosh, I'm smitten.

Started off the day in Arlberg with a couple of long runs on the new for me Gunsmokes. They were fine, turny, but well balanced and confidence inspiring. Then switched to the GPO's for some comparison...

First impression. These are the most intuitive wide planks I've ever been on save for Bodes. And this is only my third ski day of the season. Haven't had them in any deep stuff yet, but in the cut up boot deep pow they're true point and shoot. Wow! The quietest tips I've experienced. Will follow up with more details as time goes by, but these are keepers for sure!

(Follow-up will take some time though, need to get on the HL113's too)

Bump - Sweet skis N1ck. They look kinda familiar.

Just scored these from a friend. I’ve been lusting after them since he got ‘em. Fortunately (for me) he only skied them twice in four years and gave into my badgering



So, I’m now selling my now-old 192 GPOs
American Tattoo topsheet - includes side boob (right ski behind binder)


Bases in great shape - will scrape the wax for inspection if someone is interested enough. They got on snow 5-10 days per year, always deep days.

Topsheets have the usual chips in the usual places. The most egregious are shown below


There 1.5 mounts, both with M5 inserts.
1. Pivots at 325ish - as second owner I don’t remember exactly. Happy to measure if that’s a deal point.

2. Axial2s at about same BSL. Pivots & Axials have same toe screw pattern, and my tech was able to reuse a couple of the heel holes IIRC.

I'm running Axial2 at 316 and there’s still room to adjust inward.

I love these skis for deep days. Damp as the PNW coast, cruise through pow and bust through chop like it’s nothing. Besides deep pow chops, they also carve well on the storm day groomers ya gotta ride to get back to the lifts. My Billygoats always felt like clown shoes on the final stretch back.

Selling for $300 flat, $350 with Rossignol-branded Axial2s with max DIN = 12. Add in shipping from 97759 and PP fees (can do FF).
