Gulmarg India trip March 16-23, looking for partners

Hello, hello!

Looks like this season is shaping up to be truly epic in Gulmarg. I'm looking for ski/snowboard partners to explore the wild pow of Gulmarg March 16-22.

I’ll be working in India for the first half of March (I'm an urban planner) and akeen to do some skiing/snowboarding in Gulmarg from March 16-22. Please let me know if you will be in the area and would like to meet up. I need to book my ticket ASAP but am reluctant to go up to Gulmarg without a partner to ride with since most of the riding is off-piste.

I’m an expert-level snowboarder, looking for an intermediate or advanced partner(s). I'll be there with my splitboard (splits into randoneee skiis with skins) and/or snowshoes (and of course a full avy kit) and would love to ride or ski with some other people who want to explore the powder in Gulmarg. I've been watching the snowpack and avalanche conditions online and things seem stable and epic right now! I’d also be very keen to share lodging in Gulmarg - an extra bed, couch, or warm spot on the floor is enough for me. I’m 31 years old, American (but lived all over the world), easy going, I work internationally as an urban planner, and I love the mountains. I’ll be in India for the first half of March to work on an urban development project. Yeah, there has been some unrest in Srinagar but I've talked to a few contacts up in Gulmarg who say it isn't impacting travel (or skiing) at all.
