    Alpine Tele Extremo Comp

Not the biggest event ever, but some solid lines were laid down in keyhole, lots of hucks, and not too many biffs. Ran into seldon, ski or die, and thommy21. Sun in the morning was hot, clouds in the afternoon saved the snow from glopping too much. I'll post some telestoke up here soon. As well as dexter's missing tr photos from last week.

Splat.... didn't see you out there, but I was on the course shooting photos most of the time. Will you be there tomorrow?
I got carried away skiing until the second round (when the clouds came in) and then froze my ass off in the snow on the upper course, missing a lot of the hucks going off in the chute next to me and down low (although I did spy a guy tumbling through rocks for a minute - looked gnarl - but he recovered and kept going). I could hear the oooohs and aaahhhhs going off but didn't want to descend while the contest was still running. See the one guy that hucked up top and got his ski snagged in a tree on the tumble?

I think I got a couple unique perspective shots. I gotta run to walmart, where my film is being put to cd. 3pin, Yeah, I 'll be there. I spocked out the buttress and there's some whack lines that will likely get linked tomorrow. If the vis is good there should be some shots. But keyhole got slayed today!

    This girl had good form...

I was getting a lot of shots like this. Had my shitty little camera and was quite disappointed with the 94 cent film at walmart....

The only shots worth a shit were when the skiers were close. Maybe 3 pin has something decent...

Just got back after getting up to the event late due to uhhhhh, uuhhhhh, it being Sunday or something. Bigass hucks. I might have caught one or two.
3pin definitely caught some action from his location. Snow's best where the sun hasn't hit it. Freshies - Keyhole (where it went off again today due to the refreeze on the buttress) is good all the way through.

This was supposed to be todays venue, the Buttress. But it got baked, had a lot of wet slides, and froze.
Would have been sweet if it could have gone off there.

Saw that run by Dylan. Nice work that guy does.

Here's a series of a pretty tight line I shot (from too far away, sorry for the poor quality). Why would a competitor wear white pants?

    That chute is definitely narrow.

And it really didn't look all that doable.

And what looked like a great stick on the landing. But he spun out and recovered a couple seconds later.

They were parked under the tent, I was behind the fence in front of the announcers.
