    Lp De-lam question

I knew it was eventually going to happen. On the tip of one of my Lp's the top layer of metal is beginning to delaminate. Rnow its about 5 to 6 cm down the tip and makes no difference as far as preformance goes (that I can tell anyways.) Here's the question: do I send em in and most likely get the tip and tail covers they are putting on all the new ones, wait til it goes further down the skis and pray the give me a new pair (preferably the 186's), or make it a $1300 retail shot ski and sell a kidney in order to buy a new pair cause I aint gettin shit fo free?

I know someone in here has delt with this-thanks for the advice.
You look like I need a drink.

I just got mine back from the warranty dept here in Vt. I had bent one of my skis. They bent it back and gave it back to me. No charge, no real chance at getting a full new ski. I think they would most likely install the tip/tail rivets/plates. Do NOT deem the ski fucked. The only person I could see having a LP as a shot ski is Paris Hilton.

I had a slight tail delam.
Bought em used, and didn't think of warranty (but would have if I paid $1200)
Pried em open and squirted some epoxy in. Holding for now.

    FUCK....

I just bent the tip of one of mine. No hucking. I was just skiing a tight chute off granite chief and stuck the tip on a mogul and was suspended tip to tail and leaned way forward.... and its bent

    SkiJunky, does the rebend work?

That's super rad that you spent $900 USD or whatever on the LP's that delam and bend instead of $400 on Bro Models that don't...

woah, seldon just got hit with a big dose of "I told you so" That being said, Im surprised at the durablity issues. I expect these from Solomon but not Dynastar, Sad to here that people can mess up the "most bomber ski ever"
