Not only that, but the hot one I definitely remember used to win races.

And last race senior year I think she only wore a bra and panties during her last run.

Heh....IS NOT = ARE NOT....same thing. Started drinking heavily at 7pm, sorry for any grammar mistakes, I take no responsibility. As far as the rowing team goes, they must have recruited them from Middletown, they certainly did not go to Wesleyan...

This thread is making me start to cry- I hate reality.

Can't say college ever gave me the feeling of no responsibility. Had to pay for it all myself, full time student meant that I got to school around 6am and left around 8pm on the days I was on campus, and worked 3-4 jobs the rest of the time to pay for it. Sigh.
I remember "grown-ups" telling me that if I thought college was hard, wait until I got to the real world and had to hold down a full time job. Well, I'm in the real world and let me tell you....compared to college, the real world is a piece of cake. I get more time in snowboarding and biking and climbing now, working two jobs, than I ever did in college.
(Disclaimer: I'm sure the real world of having kids will be harder than college, but for now.....)
This touchy-feely Kumbaya shit has got to go.

Ahhh college. $100k spent on going to pointless classes where my psycho nursing prof coordinated her dresses to her PowerPoint presentations.

I loved college. Went to class, worked hard to get good grades, drank copious amounts of alcohol, taught lessons for a free pass, and skied 70 days a season, even while whoring myself out to the rigors of the shitty BSN program.

Quarter barrels my ass. I was not on the team, I was there to drink my friends beer. Block party style, not one house. Now that would be a feat!

Pictures, that was damn near a decade ago. No pictures, just a severe taste still for the suds.

Ahh, the truth comes out...I agree, one house would be damn impressive. Regardless, if there are 35 kegs within walking distance then that is pretty awesome too

Attention college students: Never, EVER, in your life will you be exposed to so much hot, young, single ass as you are every single day in college. For the love of God, take advantage of it.

For anyone reading this pre-college or in college: DON"T GET A DEGREE IT IS A WASTE!!!
Live with buddies in their college house and get a decent job that will teach you about an industry or a way to make your own money without a job. College will not teach you shit about how to make money unless you want to live in a cube for 90% of your life an be beholden to someone else for your income and vitality. You can still live a fun college life, but actually get a head start on beating the rat race.
A friend of mine in college dropped out mid freshman year and got a temp job at a mortgage company. He is now a real estate millionaire and started with no money. He still partied as hard as the rest of us (using his youthful resilience to make it to work every morning) but had more cash all the time, a nicer car, and no homework or money worries.
Another friend was accepted to Harvard and instead moved to Montana to ski bum and work at Arby's. After loosing everything when his car rolled off the road with his skis on the roof he moved back to MN and got his real estate license. Now he is worth millions.

While I was working 2 jobs to pay for my degree, I couldn't save enough for an IRA deposit. If would have put $2000/year into an IRA when I was 18 - 22 I would have so much more saved for retirement that I wouldn't give a fuck what the Social Security reform was about. I'll have to hustle hard for a lot of years to catch up. Lesson: invest early and invest heavy.

Do not drink the kool-aid. Degrees do not equal security or employment or happiness. It guarantees student loan debt and the dilusion that academic acheivement will get you anywhere in life. If you want to learn something thhey teach in college, take on school as another hobby. Do not trust your future to academia. Academia offers no freedom.

Rugby tournaments, better yet the rugby parties. beer pong, bongs, the ladies, spring break trips to Maine to go ski every year. Living with buddies, road tripping to party with my other friends at their schools, homecoming road trip tour, good times.

As a film major, classes were easy. College for me consisted of skiing or mountain biking 5-6 days a week.

We drank only on the weekends, but not binge-type drinking. Spring break trips for us were not to Mexico or Florida, they were to Moab or Fernie. We wern't big partiers at all.

I had a fun college job, delivering sandwiches in the company trucks. We trashed the shit of those things. I never interned in the summers because it would have cut into my mtb/fun time.

College was a blast but I'm having fun now, too.

Yea, that's true for some things, but for those of us who love doing, say, biology research or some other science related bit, college is actually good training. If all you want is money to party and ski, I don't think you need a degree.

While I enjoy partying as much as the next guy, most of my best memories come from when I'm just chilling with a bunch of friends. Also, freshman year was the first time I ever skied out west. It really was a trip I'll never forget.

hey, sounds like me! art history major here, so I don't have regular homework, I just get inundated with a week from hell with about 5 ten page papers due in 2 days in March. I mtb or ski 4 days a week, and work at GAP to pay the bills. I work 2 jobs in whistler in the summer, which still allows for plenty of play time. Also my spring break trips are to places like Jackson Hole... I love university!
    Believe.
