Saw the doc - MRI results are good

I landed back seat (as I always seem to do) on a front flip from Wednesday's booter session. My knee is slightly swollen, yet stable. I've torn my ACL before, so I'm pretty sure I didn't tear it this time. I'm thinking it's cartalige/miniscus since I'm in the most pain when I'm going through the range of motion, but not in any pain when it's straight or bent. It's like there's a certain point that it hurts, but then it's OK after that point.

UPDATE - saw the doc - got MRI results - posted below

Damn. Hope it's nothing serious. Where are you going?

Not ACL, likely not MCL, likely miniscus or cartilege damage. MRI is scheduled for Sat. morning, then I see the doc again next Wednesday.

MRI - no damage. Only a bone bruise that will get better with ice and anti-inflamatories. No surgery needed. I'm pretty lucky that I didn't do anything worse. It feels a lot better now - just a little sore sometimes, but it's OK to ski and such.

Good news to hear! I'm with ya man. I also have a bone bruise. I injured it in mid January and it is feeling pretty good right now. Went skiing for the first time last weekend with no problems.
