Glad I could stir it up, thought I would add my own mildly derogatory comments about one group vs. another. Reminds me of high school a bit and I didn't do cool then and I'm not about to start now. Needless to say buying something over the web is tough for sizing, fit and fabric etc. Then when it becomes apparent the people putting it together don't have much regard for us on the road side it makes it an easy choice. Anyone want to join me for a 300km+ road ride this summer in their baggy jersey? You can have my wheel.
Hope you sell enough to make it fly I've got lots of jerseys and good sources at low cost.
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy
I already have 3 geek jerseys, thus my longsleeve baggy, as it protects my delicate skin from tree branches.![]()
alllriighty then....I voted for the long sleeve freeridy one, but I would also purchase a short sleeve geeky one, but you can only vote once...so put me down for 2![]()

Well, so far we have a collective 23 votes for the geeky and 32 for the freeride style. Is it way our of the realm of possibility to arrange to make one of each available? I guess that would depend strongly on the demand numbers, hence the poll, right?

Well, you've got 23 GEEKS and 32 MTBers or fat people. Looks like all we need to know is where to send the money.

I'm waiting for the call back from Verge, they are moving into new offices and will start returning calls again on Monday. I'll get the rest of the pricing details from them then.

I know we don't have exact price, but is there a price range yet for these?
Tentatively, I want a shortsleeve geeky one and a long sleeve freeride/big mountain/extreme poser one.
It's probably gonna be around $55 per jersey.Originally Posted by Ski Monkey

I know the poll is to get a general idea of how much interest there is; so I'm not going to worry about changing my vote. I voted for a SS geeky and a SS FR/DH, but I'd like the two jerseys below:
One geeky short sleeve club fit and one FR/DH long sleeve.
And, I think we're over the minimum on both styles.

Okay, just got off the phone with Verge. Both styles, long and short sleeve are the same price with the two color design. The long sleeve is a pretty heavy duty fabric that stands up well to DH abuse but breathes really weel and the short sleeve has the geeky roady rear pockets and a short zip (long zip is $3 more). The booking fee is VERY affordable and the deposit would be due 7 weeks before production. They are currently booking for late May production which is about a week or two ahead of Voler. If we want to go ahead with this let me know.
I'll be in for one short sleeved freeride please.
Thanks,
'Ho
i like the idea of the zip on the freeride ss jersey for when i get schvetty

The idea of having a maggot shirt to wear may even get me on a bike (and get me on this section of the boards...)! I voted for the super tight geeky long sleeved one.
In addition to my geeky S/S jersey, I'll probably get a s/s Girly geek for my sister, and probably a L/S freeride to wear for spring skiing.

Is a long sleeve "geek" jersey an option with Verge?
Can we get a post outlining what the pricing is going to be for the different options? Somthing that would let us directly compare Voler to Verge. It's clear that we have the 25 minimum for geek and Freeride, so let's get these rolling so they're here in time for a few races this season.

(Well, I assume someone with the Verge beta will post it there eventually)
It's idomatic, beatch.
I'd prolly go with a baggy short sleeve for me and a geeky short sleeve for Mrs. Beaver.
Did I miss something? What are the 2 colours and what will the design be? If they are as ugly as most cycling jersies I may have to pass cause they are usually as ugly as snowmobile jackets.

Sorry I'm late on this one, folks.
Put me down for a short sleeve freeridy one.
So I got that goin' for me...which is nice.
Voler update: Based on current quantity interest (we're at 50+ FR/DH!) and a 2-color design, maggot cost would be
SS Geeky = $57.25
LS Baggy = $40.00
SS Baggy = $37.00
3 color design would add about ten bucks to Geeks and about three bucks to Baggies.

Plake, with the numbers as they are right now, what would the Verge order cost?Originally Posted by wintermittent

I'd definately be in for a geeky short sleeve, but I'd prefer a longer zipper.
