How about pro-deals for Alta workers who cook up some sick ass burgers at Watson's? In exchange for gear, these workers will stop wearing the one shirt and hat they were given to work in 6 days a week and start wearing nothing but Eider gear all the time, as well as talk about it non-stop to pissed of customers who wish they went to Alf's where the burgers are pre-made.

    I ski pretty well also.

BTW-how many of you have str8line as a customer in your day jobs? When he came in I suddenly realized why celebrities get harrassed all the time. It took self control not to swoon like a school girl.
You look like I need a drink.

You wanna sponsor LAN's and my drinking team? We are currently in the process of recruiting more athletes. However, even in it's current state I think it would be a fine compliment to the sports Eider is currently involved in.

Since Eider currently seems to have the daytime sports covered, I think it would be in their best interests to look into the nighttime sports and activities. After all, where do all the people go after a day of climbing or skiing? I can personally guarantee, once sponsored I will be able to attract as much, if not more attention in the bar than any of Eiders current or future sponsored skiers/mountaineers will be able to in the mountains.

I understand this is very "cutting edge" and "revolutionary," but I think deep down inside, we all know how well this will work.

    Great questions BC.

Product only for the time being, but this stuff is just about gold plated. Things like photo incentives and travel budgets will be a part of the future, but for now we are looking for people that see an oppurtunity to get in at the ground level, be a part of the growth, and reap the rewards that loyalty brings(what else do you expect me to say without throwing the benjamins? ).

But seriously. I think there is always room for a product that is top quality to do well and I will do all that I can to make it happen for the athletes as sales grow.

They do make other products besides clothing(shoes, gloves, packs), but not to the extent that it would necessarily preclude someone from being a viable athlete should they already have those types of sponsors.

actually Rob Gaffney knows him, McConkey..all those people that live or lived in Sqauw probably know him. I guess that prolly doesn't help much. Anyways, he's a good dude and is into exactly what you are talkin about.

Now that I think about it, he's the dude who charges down the fingers during the race in...I think it's 1999.

Lan & Crashed, I think I have a prototype suitable for your team's needs. Once we get G. on board, we can start pressing them. If all goes well, signature pro models could be out within the year.

Considering the imo very sweet stuff Eider showed off at the ISPO a few weeks ago someone could get very lucky here. I'd say there was only 2-3 brands at the ISPO with clothing that I likes better.

Hmmm. Compelling business model. Maybe we could produce a special hi-tech drinking hood so when you get ultra shitty no one recognizes who you are thus sparing you the embarrassment of whatever you end up doing. Of course huge logos would let everyone know who's got your back.

I'm definitely going to run this one by corporate.

Btw. MT should in my opinion be considered; the guy kicks ass on skis, works really hard, does outside stuff like the Bridger book and is generally one of the coolest cats around. He even owns the Descender wall clock. If I had more clout with a certain weegie clothing brand he's be using that stuff allready, but since I don't he's still up for grabs.

    Think about him G.

TP- I concur! Although a boy that big prolly ain't killing it on the climbing front. I'd say the Andy's too.

Crash'd & LAN: Screw this str8line guy, if you will note, FOR THE RECORD.

I am the Drinking Team Captain and you two are not making any friends at the top right now.

    [whistle]

Okay, we've got excessive douchebag-like behavior on SquawFag, for this and numerous other incidents. We've also got illegal use of the FM, this is a flagrant foul. Consecutive 15-yard penalties and you're banned from using the FM until the Commissioner's ruling is handed down.

    4th and Texas, beyatch!
